So it’s been a while since I said I would sit down to write about the people who have helped me throughout the whole Pandemic and even some before the Pandemic. It has taken me about a month and a half to about six months to actually FINALLY write about the Authors, encouragers/motivators, therapists, Spiritual healers, Yoga instructors, meditators that have helped me calm my Anxiety and to get myself on track and to focus on my Goals and dreams. I will write about my favorites and hope that they also help encourage you, help you grow, give you guidance on how to really take Care of yourself and learn to Love yourself and others better.

My first and favorite author and therapist is Dr. Sherrie Campbell. She really has helped me heal from trauma and be able to see more clearly how damaging Narcissists can be. Narcissists are toxic because they really only care about themselves and do not listen or take advice from anyone and I do mean anyone. Sherrie has an excellent book on dealing with Toxic people, whether it is from family or even love relationships. Sherrie has helped defined so many psychological terms to help when you have been abused and traumatized by these types of toxic people. She has even helped me recognize some of my own behaviors and help me Grow myself, to really regulate my emotions and reactions to some degree. It takes a tremendous amount of work to get myself back on track to Loving myself. Sherrie truly validates those who have been traumatized from others who have made you believe you were crazy and not worthy or that you may not have anything to offer. We all have something to offer. We just have to dig deep and not allow the negative words of others to get us down. Sherrie has amazing therapy and advice giving on her facebook page. This woman has helped me tremendously the last seven years!

My second favorite author and Spiritual insight motivator is Gabrielle Bernstein. Gabrielle teaches us how to Love ourselves, be a light for others, and to let go of Judgments. She has written a book called, “judgment Detox”, and to me it is the best book in the World and everyone needs it. It really teaches us where we judge ourselves and others waaaay too much! She teaches how to Let Go of negative thoughts and words that we may say to ourselves and about others. It is so tremendous to Let Go, it’s like your body does a complete transformation and lifts so much stress off our bodies. It takes daily practice. Also, it helps to be productive in order to Let go of these Judgments. Gabrielle also teaches about tapping and breathing through our Anxious times and obsessive thoughts in order to Let Go. She has been a Lifesaver and miracle worker to me during the Pandemic.

My third favorite mentor, author and meditation teacher is Jay Shetty. This man is such an example of truly being in the moment, loving ourselves and others. He teaches how to be aware of our behaviors, how to be productive, how to have discipline, how to love others. Jay truly helped me through the first part of the Pandemic with all his YouTube meditations. He has about 20 to 30 and each one was a little bit different. I had done no less than two hours of meditation at the beginning of the Pandemic. The main element in each of his meditations were to be calm, still, and truly present in the meditation. This helps to calm our anxious thoughts. Jay recently came out with a book called, “Think Like a Monk”. I just want to break it down from what said in one of his YouTube Interviews, is that we can have a monkey mind where we run around basically doing nothing, learning nothing or we can learn new things, new Knowledge to help us focus and really develop a well disciplined and Life with Purpose. I truly believe learning Psychology, Painting, a new Language, discipline and knowledge on how to set Goals, and go with the Steps and flow and truly focus has helped me! Jay has helped me do this!

My fourth favorite author, mentor, motivator is Rachel Hollis. This woman is on fire! Rachel is no joke when it comes to using every bit of energy you can find within yourself to Live a Life worth Loving and serving others. She really truly loves herself and loves helping others. She is ENERGY!!! She is not someone to mess with when it comes to being lazy. Every bit of information she has given me is good enough for me from a distance. She has also helped me understand that Yes, sometimes the anxiousness of wanting to be Productive can burn us out!

My fifth favorite Mentor is Marissa Peer. I love this woman’s British accent. Marissa has helped me with something she created called Rapid Transformational Therapy, which is similar to neurolinguistic programming. In other words, what we tell ourselves every day has to be something Positive. We can change the way we talk to ourselves by what telling ourselves that we are worth it, we are enough, we have something to offer, we love what we do. I truly believe that so many people need this, especially negative people who constantly tell themselves that what they are doing isn’t good enough. Oh my gosh, I call these people Perfectionists and they have to have things done in a precise way, which to me is a little bit scary. Marissa is golden when it comes to really motivating and helping us meditate through anxious times. She teaches us how to discipline our daily schedules and our minds to think positively. To really be there for ourselves and to love ourselves when we had not received it growing up. Marissa is truly an Angel and she has a sense or humor to boot.

My sixth favorite mentor, author, encourager is Marie Forleo. The first time I saw Marie Forleo, she did a YouTube Interview with her friend Gabrielle Bernstein on how to believe in Spiritual Guidance and to be able to manifest what it is we would like. We first and foremost have to let the Universe/Cosmos to Guide us even if we may not know what the outcome may look like. A lot of us get trapped in wanting the control and we may give up on ourselves. Marie has a book called, “Everything is Figure-outable”, which I still haven’t read yet. This woman has all sorts of great advice on how we can discipline, encourage ourselves, Set plans and Goals for ourselves and what we can do when we get burned out. I personally have my own solutions for when I get burned out as well.

My seventh favorite mentor and guide is Lisa Bileyu. She has a YouTube channel called ‘Women of Impact’. My favorite Guest she had on was Lori Harder, who is a Life Coach and author who talked about getting over her fears of being judged for what she had to teach. She knew she had it in her to be a Coach and Public Speaker. Lisa has all sorts of women on talking about their struggles and how they have overcome, and learned the Secrets of pushing through to do the work they love an, accomplishing their Goals, learning the mistakes along the way. Ladies, never give up your values EVER!!!! There are so many great therapists, actors, authors, women entrepreneurs on her YouTube.

Last but not least are all my Yoga instructors and Meditation Guides I have followed on YouTube the last year and a half or more: Allie the Journey Junkie, who also has taught me so much about Chakra and Body, Mind, and Soul Balancing through the six layers of our body. She has taught me breath work and Chakra sounds. Also, Yoga with Adrienne has been tremendous. This woman has a huge following on YouTube. Also, Adison Brianna who is excellent with morning Yoga, Side body stretches and Deep Hip stretching. Last, but not least is Sara Raymond from the Mindful Movement. Sara teaches how to release Anxiety, Stress, Calm our minds, Clear Clutter, Breath through our Day, tell ourselves positive things, Scan our bodies for Pain, how to heal our bodies of pain, which truly does work with LOTS of Practice and mindfulness.

All of these ladies and then some that I will talk about another time have been so helpful to me during the Pandemic and even before when I cold and homeless at the end of 2019/beginning of 2020. I truly and totally believe we MUST take care of ourselves! We must lean into resistance, be resilient, Patient with ourselves and with others!!! We must find the energy within ourselves as Rachel Hollis and Mel Robbins often say. Oh, I forgot to write about Mel Robbins, who really helps people with Goals and dealing with Anxiety BIG time! Her YouTube is so worth checking out! All of these women have helped and impacted me in a Big way. I will come back to write about a couple of my Social media friends who have helped as well.
